Payments:
To confirm your booking for all contracted services, an advance payment is required. This will secure your reservation, and the remaining balance can be paid either before your departure from your home country or upon your arrival in India, but must be settled prior to the commencement of the services. The management reserves the right to determine the advance amount based on the type of service and the time remaining before the service begins.
In certain cases, such as special train journeys or hotel/resort bookings during peak seasons (e.g., Christmas, New Year), full payment will be required in advance.
Mode of Payment:
Overseas advance payment can be made through Wire Transfer to our bank.
Cancellation Policy:
In the event of a cancellation of tour or travel services for any reason, whether avoidable or unavoidable, we must be notified in writing. The cancellation charges will be effective from the date we receive the written notice, and will be as follows:
- 45 days prior to arrival: 10% of the tour/service cost
- 15 days prior to arrival: 25% of the tour/service cost
- 7 days prior to arrival: 50% of the tour/service cost
- 48 hours prior to arrival or No Show: No Refund
Please note: Written cancellations will only be accepted on working days (excluding Sundays). Any cancellation sent on a Sunday will be considered on the next working day (Monday).
For bookings during the Christmas and New Year period, from December 20th to January 5th, the payment is non-refundable.
If you cancel the trip after it has commenced, any refund will be limited and depend on the recoverable amounts from the hoteliers and contractors we work with. We do not take responsibility for refunds for unused hotel accommodation, chartered transportation, missed meals, or other services.
Wildlife Safaris cancellation:
All the wildlife safaris booked into any of Indian Wildlife National Park/Sanctuaries are non refundable. Even date change request will be considered as cancellation and no payment will be refunded/ adjusted against it.
Our Liabilities & Limitations:
Please be aware that after the finalization of the tour or service cost, any increases in entrance fees to monuments or museums, taxes, fuel costs, or guide charges mandated by the Government of India will be charged as additional expenses.
GlobalScenicHoliday.com acts solely as an agent for the hotels, airlines, transporters, railways, and contractors providing other services. All exchange orders, receipts, contracts, and tickets issued by us are subject to the terms and conditions under which these services are provided by the respective suppliers.
Itineraries provided are sample itineraries intended to offer a general idea of the trip schedule. However, various factors such as weather, road conditions, or the physical condition of participants may lead to changes in the itinerary before or during the tour. We reserve the right to modify any schedule for the safety, comfort, and well-being of the participants.
Our rates are based on current rates negotiated with hotels, airlines, and other service providers. However, hotels and airlines reserve the right to adjust their rates without prior notice. In the event of such changes, we may revise our quoted rates accordingly. All hotel bookings are based on the standard check-in and check-out times unless specified otherwise in the itinerary.
We are not responsible for any delays or alterations in the program, or any additional expenses incurred due to factors such as natural disasters, flight cancellations, accidents, transport breakdowns, weather conditions, sickness, landslides, political closures, or other unforeseen incidents.
We will also not be held responsible for any loss, injury, or damage to persons, property, or otherwise in connection with accommodation, transportation, or services, caused directly or indirectly by acts of God, fire, accidents, transport breakdowns, wars, civil disturbances, strikes, theft, medical emergencies, or any other circumstances beyond our control.
We do not provide insurance coverage for accidents, illness, theft, or other personal losses. Visitors are strongly advised to arrange such insurance in their home country. All baggage and personal property are at the client’s own risk at all times.
Please note: We are not liable for any additional costs arising from unforeseen events like landslides, roadblocks, or adverse weather conditions.
