Day 1
Arrival in Delhi
Upon your arrival at Delhi airport, our representative holding a placard with your name will greet you and assist with your transfer to Hotel Taj Palace Delhi. The rest of the day is at your leisure. Overnight at Hotel Taj Palace Delhi.
Day 2
Delhi City Tour
After breakfast, embark on a guided sightseeing tour of Delhi. Begin with Jama Masjid, India’s largest mosque, followed by a visit to the bustling Chandni Chowk and its vibrant spice market—where you’ll enjoy a traditional rickshaw ride. Next, explore the majestic Red Fort and pay homage at Raj Ghat, the memorial dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi. Discover the architectural beauty of Humayun’s Tomb, admire the serene Lotus Temple of the Baha’i faith, and marvel at the medieval craftsmanship of Qutub Minar. Your tour will also include a drive past iconic landmarks such as the Parliament House, President’s Residence, and India Gate. The remainder of the day is free for you to relax or explore on your own. Overnight at Hotel Taj Palace Delhi.
Day 3
Delhi to Jaipur
Upon your morning arrival in Jaipur, the Pink City, you will check into your hotel. The rest of the day is at your leisure for relaxation or exploring local markets renowned for handicrafts and jewellery. Optionally, in the evening, you can visit Chokhi Dhani village to experience traditional Rajasthani culture, art, live dances (like Ghoomer and Kalbeliya), puppet shows, camel rides, and enjoy a traditional dinner before returning to your hotel for an overnight stay in Jaipur.
Day 4
Jaipur City Tour
After breakfast, you will visit the Amber Fort, nestled in the Aravalli Hills and built in the 16th century by Raja Man Singh. Here, you may opt for an elephant ride. Then, visit the stunning Jal Mahal, or Water Palace, followed by the iconic Hawa Mahal, Jaipur’s famous Palace of Winds. In the afternoon, explore the City Palace and Museum, a beautiful blend of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture designed by Maharaja Jai Singh. Nearby, you will find Jantar Mantar, an impressive astronomical observatory. The rest of the day is at your leisure for rest or shopping in Jaipur’s lively markets, renowned for their handicrafts and exquisite gold and diamond jewelry. Day 5
Jaipur to Agra
This morning after breakfast you can visit the Birla Temple & the famous Monkey Temple (Galta Ji). Later, you will be transferred to Mughal city Agra. Agra is a major tourist destination in North India because of its many Mughal-era buildings, most notably the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and Fatehpur Sikri, all these three are UNESCO World Heritage Sites. En Route you will visit Chand Baori, a stepwell situated in the Abhaneri village on the way to Agra. Chand Baori consists of 3,500 narrow steps over 13 stories. It extends approximately 30 m (100 ft) into the ground making it one of the deepest and largest stepwells in India. Also visit Fatehpur Sikri, the deserted red sandstone city built by the Mughal Emperor Akbar. On arrival check in to your hotel. Rest of the day is free at your leisure. Day 6
Visit Taj Mahal at Sunrise & Agra Fort and Transfer to Gwalior
This early morning at sunrise you will visit the famous Taj Mahal-the symbol of love, built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. (Taj Mahal Remains Closed on Every Friday). Return back to the hotel for fresh n up and breakfast. After breakfast you will visit the Agra fort, built by the great Emperor Akbar and the Tomb of Etimad-ud-Daula often described as Jewel Box or the Baby Taj. It is regarded as a draft of the Taj Mahal. By afternoon you will be transferred to Gwalior. Gwalior is an important and ancient city of Madhya Pradesh known for its brave warrior kings, renowned musicians, poets, saints and artists and the old beautiful temples, huge old forts and the magnificent princely palaces. On arrival check in to your hotel. Rest of the day is free at your leisure. If you wish you can visit the famous Sarafa Bazaar offering an endless variety of Jewelry, textiles, handicrafts and much more. It is one of the oldest markets in the city. Besides, the variety of lip-smacking food items that you can savor here make this an ideal spot for foodies as well. Sarafa Bazar is the ultimate abode of shopaholics and is one of the most exciting places to visit in Gwalior. Overnight at the hotel in Gwalior.
Day 7
Gwalior to Orchha
This morning after breakfast you will visit the most famous Gwalior Fort sprawling over an area of 3 km, Gwalior fort can be seen from every nook and cranny of Gwalior. Within the fort complex visit the Saas Bahu Temple (originally named as Sahastrabahu Temple which is another name for Lord Vishnu with many hands) This temple is praised for its intricate designs and impeccable carvings. Also visit Gujari Mahal, Gopachal Parvat within the fort complex. If you are interested in witnessing the armors from the era of Shah Jahan and Aurangzeb to the freedom movement during the reign of Rani Laxmi Bai, then head to Jai Vilas Palace. You can also visit Tansen Memorial & Sun Temple. Tansen was a pioneer of Gwalior Gharana in Hindustani Classical music during the reign of Mughals. The Sun Temple is dedicated to Sun God and the architecture is inspired by the world-famous Sun Temple in Konark. By late afternoon you will be transferred to Orchha famous for its palaces and temples built in the 16th and 17th centuries. The architectural splendor of the monuments in Orchha reflects the glory of its rulers. On arrival check in to your hotel. Day 8
Orchha to Khajuraho
This morning after breakfast you will visit Orchha Fort built on an island on the Betwa river, this architectural marvel houses many temples and palaces. There are three important palaces encapsulating history in its purest form: Jahangir Mahal, Raj Mahal, and the famous Rai Praveen Mahal. The Jahangir Mahal is the supremacy of the architecture that prevailed in Orchha. The Raj Mahal is one of the most historic monuments in the fort & Rai Praveen Mahal which once was beautiful now is left with stories of the glorious past in its ruins. If you wish you can also visit Ram Raja Temple, Laxmi Narayan Temple, Phool Bagh, Shahid Smarak etc. You can also try River Rafting in Betwa River. By late afternoon you will be transferred to Khajuraho-A UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its erotic sculptures. On arrival check in the hotel. Rest of the day is free at your leisure. Day 9
Khajuraho City Tour
This morning after breakfast you will visit the world renowned Khajuraho temples, known for its erotic sculptures. Visit EASTERN GROUP OF TEMPLES, WESTERN GROUP OF TEMPLES and the SOUTHERN GROUP OF TEMPLES. Though all the temples are worth visiting, the main attractions are The Kandariya Mahadeva Temple, Parsvanath Temple and the Adinath temple. These temples are dedicated to several Hindu Gods and Goddesses along with deities in Jain beliefs. Among the temples that are standing till now, 6 are dedicated to Lord Shiva, 8 to Lord Vishnu, 1 each to Lord Ganesha and the Sun God, while 3 are dedicated to Jain Tirthankaras. The largest of the temples is the Kandariya Mahadeo Temple that is dedicated to the glory of lord Shiva. Khajuraho temples known for their breathtaking sculptors and elegance, the magnificent Khajuraho temples present aesthetics at its best. The temples are known for their elaborate and intricate carvings and erotic sculpture. While these sculptures depict various scenes from everyday lives, the Khajuraho temples are primarily known for the artful and erotic depiction of the female form as well as various sexual practices of the time. The beauty and elegance of the Khajuraho temples is beyond words and imagination. After visiting Khajuraho you will be left wondering about the advanced art, sculpture and architecture back in the 10th century. There is hardly any other place than Khajuraho, where all kinds of human emotions have been portrayed with such great excellence. Rest of the day is free at your leisure. In the evening you can attend the light & sound show, organized at Western Group of temples where you will learn the history, Chandela dynasty and associated myths with Khajuraho Temples. Day 10
Visit Raneh WaterFalls & Flight to Varanasi
This morning after breakfast you will visit the Raneh Waterfalls located 20 kilometers east of Khajuraho. Gigantic sandstone boulders along the Ken river make this a perfect picnic and sunbathing spot. The pink sandstone boulders, sculpted by the water over the centuries, glow like burnished metal in the fading light of the setting sun. By afternoon you will be transferred to Khajuraho airport to board your flight to Varanasi. Flight No. UK-622 departure from Khajuraho at 14:20 hrs. arriving in Varanasi at 15:25 hrs. Day 11
Varanasi City Tour with Evening Ganga Aarti
This morning after breakfast; visit The Bharat Mata Temple, Durga temple, Tulsi Manas mandir, Banaras Hindu University which has an art gallery & Kashi Vishwanath Temple. Rest of the day is free at your leisure. This evening visit the holy Ganges to see the grand Ganges Aarti (Lamp Ceremony) on banks of river Ganges. Ganga Aarti is a fire ritual, performed to show gratitude to the river and ask for its blessings. It involves chanting, bells, fire, flowers, and more. Every evening around sunset, hundreds of people gather at Dasaswamedh Ghat to witness the Ganga Aarti of Varanasi. The aarti is performed on a stage by seven young priests. Day 12
Early Morning Boat Ride, Visit Sarnath & Flight to Delhi
Early morning boat excursion on the holy river Ganges to see the bathing Ghats and cremation site. Watching people bathing and worshipping at the Ghats is one of the most extraordinary experiences of a visit to India. After breakfast you will visit Sarnath the Buddhist city, where Lord Buddha gave his first sermon. Visit the ruins, the stupa, the Buddhist temple and the museum etc. By afternoon you will be transferred to Varanasi airport to board your flight to Delhi. Flight No. UK-813 departure from Varanasi at 15:20 hrs. arriving in Delhi at 16:50 hrs. On arrival at Delhi airport board your onward flight.
