Day 1

Arrival in Delhi

Upon your arrival at Delhi airport, our representative holding a placard with your name will greet you and assist with your transfer to the hotel. The rest of the day is at your leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel in Delhi.

Day 2

Delhi City Tour

After breakfast, embark on a guided sightseeing tour of Delhi. Begin with Jama Masjid, India’s largest mosque, followed by a visit to the bustling Chandni Chowk and its vibrant spice market—where you’ll enjoy a traditional rickshaw ride. Next, explore the majestic Red Fort and pay homage at Raj Ghat, the memorial dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi. Discover the architectural beauty of Humayun’s Tomb, admire the serene Lotus Temple of the Baha’i faith, and marvel at the medieval craftsmanship of Qutub Minar. Your tour will also include a drive past iconic landmarks such as the Parliament House, President’s Residence, and India Gate. The remainder of the day is free for you to relax or explore on your own. Overnight stay at your hotel in Delhi.

Day 3

Delhi to Agra

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Agra, a city renowned for its magnificent Mughal-era monuments, including the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, and Fatehpur Sikri—all UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and freshen up before starting your sightseeing tour. Visit the iconic Taj Mahal, a timeless symbol of love built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. (Please note: The Taj Mahal is closed every Friday.) Next, explore the impressive Agra Fort, constructed by Emperor Akbar, and visit the Tomb of Itimad-ud-Daulah, often called the “Jewel Box” or “Baby Taj,” considered a precursor to the Taj Mahal. The rest of the day is at your leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel in Agra.

Day 4

Taj Mahal sunrise visit, then proceed to Jaipur via Fatehpur Sikri and Chand Baori.

Early this morning, you have the option to visit the Taj Mahal again at sunrise for a magical experience. Afterward, return to your hotel to freshen up and enjoy breakfast. Post breakfast, you will depart for Jaipur, the Pink City. En route, visit Fatehpur Sikri, the impressive deserted red sandstone city built by Mughal Emperor Akbar, followed by a stop at Chand Baori, a remarkable stepwell located in Abhaneri village. With 3,500 narrow steps descending over 13 stories and reaching about 30 meters (100 feet) deep, Chand Baori is one of India’s largest and deepest stepwells. Upon arrival in Jaipur, check into your hotel. The rest of the day is at your leisure. Overnight stay in Jaipur.

Day 5

Jaipur City Tour

After breakfast, you will visit the Amber Fort, nestled in the Aravalli Hills and built in the 16th century by Raja Man Singh. Here, you may opt for an elephant ride. Then, visit the stunning Jal Mahal, or Water Palace, followed by the iconic Hawa Mahal, Jaipur’s famous Palace of Winds. In the afternoon, explore the City Palace and Museum, a beautiful blend of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture designed by Maharaja Jai Singh. Nearby, you will find Jantar Mantar, an impressive astronomical observatory. The rest of the day is at your leisure for rest or shopping in Jaipur’s lively markets, renowned for their handicrafts and exquisite gold and diamond jewelry. Overnight stay at your hotel in Jaipur.

Day 6

Jaipur to Delhi & Flight to Cochin

This morning after breakfast, you will be transferred to Delhi airport to board your flight to Cochin. Flight No. UK-885 departs Delhi at 15:40 hrs and arrives in Cochin at 18:50 hrs. On arrival, pick up and transfer to the hotel. The rest of the day is at your leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel in Cochin.

Day 7

Cochin City Tour

This morning after breakfast, embark on a city tour of Cochin. Visit Fort Kochi Beach, famous for its scenic sunsets and unique Chinese fishing nets—the only ones of their kind in India. Explore the historic Santa Cruz Basilica, Mattancherry Palace (Dutch Palace) with its stunning murals depicting scenes from the Mahabharata and Ramayana, and the nearby Jewish Synagogue, adorned with Chinese tiles and Belgian chandeliers, housing ancient scrolls of the Old Testament. You can also explore Jew Town, Kerala Folklore Museum, and Hill Palace Museum. Later, enjoy leisure time for shopping at M.G. Road, known for spices, clothes, sculptures, and jewelry, or relax at Marine Drive, a popular local hangout. Overnight stay at the hotel in Cochin.

Day 8

Cochin to Munnar

This morning after breakfast, you will be transferred to Munnar. En route, visit the stunning Cheeyappara Waterfalls, famous for its breathtaking seven-step cascade. Munnar, known as one of Kerala’s most beautiful hill stations, offers tranquility and peace away from the bustle of city life. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel. Day 9

Munnar Sightseeing

This morning after breakfast, you will explore the scenic hill station of Munnar, situated at 1600 meters above sea level. Surrounded by rolling hills covered with some of the world’s highest tea plantations, Munnar’s misty slopes resemble lush velvet lawns. Today’s sightseeing includes visits to Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point, Kundala Lake, Blossom Park, Pothamedu View Point, Attukad and Lakkam Waterfalls, Eravikulam National Park, Anamudi View Point, and Chinnar Wildlife Sanctuary. The rest of the day is at your leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel in Munnar.

Day 10

Munnar to Periyar (Thekkady)

This morning after breakfast, you will be transferred to Thekkady, famous for its spice plantations and the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, which covers 780 sq. km of lush forest and was declared a Tiger Reserve in 1978. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel. In the afternoon, visit Abraham’s Spice Garden, a unique two-acre garden offering an interactive tour showcasing the cultivation and processing of spices like cardamom, cinnamon, pepper, cloves, vanilla, ginger, and turmeric. Next, explore Elephant Junction, known for its rich biodiversity including elephants, Indian bison, and Nilgiri Tahrs, as well as Kerala’s tribal culture. Enjoy a walk through the forest, interact with wild elephants by feeding and bathing them, and breathe in the fragrant aroma of the spice plantations. You can also visit the Kadathanadan Kalari Center to witness Kalaripayattu, the traditional martial art of Kerala, with an engaging and safe performance highlighting the region’s cultural heritage. Day 11

Explore Periyar Wildlife sanctuary & Transfer to Kumarakom

This morning after breakfast, you will visit The Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, which spans 780 sq. km, with 360 sq. km of dense evergreen forest. Declared a Tiger Reserve in 1978, it is renowned for its diverse wildlife, unique geomorphology, and scenic beauty, attracting visitors worldwide. The artificial lake formed by the Mullaperiyar Dam across the Periyar River adds to the park's charm. Experience the sanctuary uniquely by taking a boat ride on Periyar Lake, offering a refreshing way to explore the jungle. The calm waters provide opportunities to spot rare birds like the Malabar Grey Hornbill and Nilgiri Wood Pigeon. This sanctuary is the only one in India where wildlife can be viewed up close from the safety of a boat. The highlight is the herds of wild elephants that often play in the lake.

By afternoon, you will be transferred to Kumarakom, a picturesque backwater destination on India’s southern coast known for its balanced tropical climate. Kumarakom, one of India’s top ten tourist destinations, is a cluster of small islands on the famous Vembanad Lake. Upon arrival, check in to your resort. In the evening, enjoy a relaxing sunset cruise. Overnight at the resort in Kumarakom.

Day 12

Kumarakom to Alleppey

Early this morning, wake up to the grand spectacle of the sun rising over the river, casting a warm glow on the serene landscape. After an early breakfast, visit the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary, a haven for bird watchers open from 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM. Spread across 14 hectares of lush greenery, this sanctuary is home to many rare and beautiful seasonal birds. The best time to visit is between November and March, when migratory birds from Siberia arrive, including Siberian Cranes, Night Herons, Pelicans, Parrots, Larks, Flycatchers, and Golden-backed Woodpeckers. Native kingfishers add bursts of vibrant colors to the waters. The sanctuary offers a unique chance to witness rare bird species, some of which may soon disappear. After returning to your hotel and freshening up, you will be transferred to Alleppey.

Around 11:00 AM, proceed to Alleppey, famously known as the “Venice of the East,” and board a traditional houseboat for an unforgettable backwater cruise. The houseboat is equipped with comfortable bedrooms, a kitchen, and a bathroom, with a driver and cook on board to ensure a smooth and pleasant experience. Drift along the tranquil backwaters, observe local life, and enjoy birdwatching from the boat. End your day with a delicious dinner on board, and spend the night peacefully in the houseboat.

Day 13

Alleppey to Cochin Airport

This morning after breakfast check out from the houseboat and you will be transferred to Cochin airport to board your onward flight.
