Itineraries

Day 1

Arrival in Delhi

Upon your arrival at Delhi airport, our representative holding a placard with your name will greet you and assist with your transfer to Hotel Taj Palace Delhi. The rest of the day is at your leisure. Overnight at Hotel Taj Palace Delhi.

Day 2

Delhi City Tour

After breakfast, embark on a guided sightseeing tour of Delhi. Begin with Jama Masjid, India’s largest mosque, followed by a visit to the bustling Chandni Chowk and its vibrant spice market—where you’ll enjoy a traditional rickshaw ride. Next, explore the majestic Red Fort and pay homage at Raj Ghat, the memorial dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi. Discover the architectural beauty of Humayun’s Tomb, admire the serene Lotus Temple of the Baha’i faith, and marvel at the medieval craftsmanship of Qutub Minar. Your tour will also include a drive past iconic landmarks such as the Parliament House, President’s Residence, and India Gate. The remainder of the day is free for you to relax or explore on your own. Overnight at Hotel Taj Palace Delhi.

Day 3

Delhi to Agra

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Agra, a city renowned for its magnificent Mughal-era monuments, including the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, and Fatehpur Sikri—all UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Upon arrival, check into your Taj Hotel & Convention Centre Agra and freshen up before starting your sightseeing tour. Visit the iconic Taj Mahal, a timeless symbol of love built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. (Please note: The Taj Mahal is closed every Friday.) Next, explore the impressive Agra Fort, constructed by Emperor Akbar, and visit the Tomb of Itimad-ud-Daulah, often called the “Jewel Box” or “Baby Taj,” considered a precursor to the Taj Mahal. The rest of the day is at your leisure. Overnight at Taj Hotel & Convention Centre Agra.

Day 4

Taj Mahal sunrise visit, then proceed to Jaipur via Fatehpur Sikri and Chand Baori.

Early this morning, you have the option to visit the Taj Mahal again at sunrise for a magical experience. Afterward, return to your hotel to freshen up and enjoy breakfast. Post breakfast, you will depart for Jaipur, the Pink City. En route, visit Fatehpur Sikri, the impressive deserted red sandstone city built by Mughal Emperor Akbar, followed by a stop at Chand Baori, a remarkable stepwell located in Abhaneri village. With 3,500 narrow steps descending over 13 stories and reaching about 30 meters (100 feet) deep, Chand Baori is one of India’s largest and deepest stepwells. Upon arrival in Jaipur, check into your Hotel Taj Jai Mahal Palace Jaipur. The rest of the day is at your leisure. Overnight at Hotel Taj Jai Mahal Palace Jaipur.

Day 5

Jaipur City Tour

After breakfast, you will visit the Amber Fort, nestled in the Aravalli Hills and built in the 16th century by Raja Man Singh. Here, you may opt for an elephant ride. Then, visit the stunning Jal Mahal, or Water Palace, followed by the iconic Hawa Mahal, Jaipur’s famous Palace of Winds. In the afternoon, explore the City Palace and Museum, a beautiful blend of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture designed by Maharaja Jai Singh. Nearby, you will find Jantar Mantar, an impressive astronomical observatory. The rest of the day is at your leisure for rest or shopping in Jaipur’s lively markets, renowned for their handicrafts and exquisite gold and diamond jewelry. Overnight at Hotel Taj Jai Mahal Palace Jaipur.

Day 6

Jaipur to Delhi & Flight to Srinagar

This morning after breakfast, you will be transferred to Delhi airport to board your flight to Srinagar. Flight No. 6E-2326 departs at 17:00 hrs and arrives in Srinagar at 18:35 hrs. Upon arrival, you will be picked up and transferred to your houseboat. The evening is at your leisure to relax and soak in the serene surroundings. Overnight stay at the houseboat in Srinagar.

Day 7

Srinagar Local Sightseeing

This morning after breakfast, begin your day with a visit to the world-famous Mughal Gardens of Srinagar. Explore Nishat Bagh (Garden of Pleasure), Shalimar Bagh (Abode of Love), Chashme Shahi Garden, and Asia’s largest Tulip Garden—each showcasing stunning Mughal-era landscaping and panoramic views. In the afternoon, enjoy a serene Shikara ride on the picturesque Dal Lake, often called the "Venice of the East." Marvel at the surrounding beauty, pass by charming houseboats, and visit the unique floating market. If you wish, you can also visit the Hazratbal Shrine, Kashmir’s holiest Muslim site, located on the northern banks of Dal Lake. Return to the houseboat for dinner. Overnight stay at the houseboat in Srinagar.

Day 8

Srinagar to Gulmarg

This morning after breakfast, depart for Gulmarg, one of the most beautiful summer resorts in the Kashmir Valley. Famous for hosting the world’s highest golf course and popular as a skiing destination in winter, Gulmarg offers breathtaking natural beauty year-round. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel. After freshening up, enjoy a scenic Gondola ride (cable car) from Gulmarg to Khilanmarg, taking in spectacular views of snow-capped mountains. On a clear day, you can even see Nanga Parbat, the world’s ninth highest peak located across the border in Pakistan. Spend the rest of the day at your leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel in Gulmarg.

Day 9

Gulmarg to Pahalgam

This morning after breakfast, you will be transferred to Pahalgam, the picturesque Vale of Kashmir, located on the banks of the Lidder River at an altitude of 7,200 feet (2,200 meters). En route, visit the vibrant saffron fields and the ancient Avantipura ruins—an 1100-year-old temple complex. By lunchtime, you will reach Pahalgam, a favored destination for the Indian film industry. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and soak in the natural beauty of the valley.

After freshening up, proceed to visit Betaab Valley, situated just 7 km from Pahalgam. Named after the popular Sunny Deol film "Betaab," which was shot here, this valley is surrounded by snow-capped peaks and dense pine and deodar forests. It is the origin of the River Sheshnag. The valley features a charming garden and a scenic bridge crossing the river. In the evening, return to your hotel in Pahalgam for an overnight stay.

Day 10

Visit Aru Valley & Transfer to Srinagar

This morning after breakfast, you will visit Aru Valley, located about 12 km from Pahalgam. Known for its stunning meadows, lakes, and mountains, Aru Valley serves as a base camp for treks to the Kolahoi Glacier and Tarsar Lake. The journey to Aru Valley is enchanting and slightly adventurous, offering scenic views of flowing rivers, lush trees, snow-capped mountains, glaciers, and expansive open valleys. The newly made road from Pahalgam to Aru makes the 20-minute drive especially enjoyable. Upon arrival, enjoy a memorable trek up the mountain on horseback. By afternoon, you will return to Pahalgam and then transfer back to Srinagar. Overnight stay will be at the hotel in Srinagar.

Day 11

Srinagar—Sonmarg—Srinagar

This morning after breakfast, you will embark on a full-day excursion to Sonmarg, renowned for being one of the most beautiful drives in the region. Along the way, you will stop at several scenic spots to soak in the breathtaking landscapes. Upon reaching Sonmarg, situated at an altitude of 2,690 meters and known as the “Meadow of Gold,” you will enjoy a horse ride to visit the stunning Thajiwas Glacier, where snow persists throughout the year. Sonmarg is also famous as the Gateway to Ladakh. By evening, you will return to Srinagar for an overnight stay at your hotel.

Day 12

Srinagar to Delhi by Flight

This morning after breakfast, you will be transferred to Srinagar airport to board your flight to Delhi. Flight No. 6E-2636 departs from Srinagar at 10:55 hrs and arrives in Delhi at 12:30 hrs. On arrival in Delhi, you will be picked up and transferred to the international airport to board your onward flight.
